Mostly
– However because Portsmouth Naval
Base has only tidal berthing's access to ships will
be restricted. Times will be published when they become available. Many parts of the Dockyard
itself and aspects of the Heritage attractions
are accessible by wheelchair. Portsmouth
Historic Dockyard has a small number of wheelchairs
available. These are issued on a first come,
first served basis and cannot be booked in
advance.
There is a satellite Shopmobility service available in the Visitor Centre providing motorised scooters and manual wheelchairs for the event. These can only be used on the site during the event and there is a charge of £4.00 per scooter. For further information telephone 023 9281 6973

Entry
through Victory Gate
By
Road: Follow brown/AA signs from M27.
By
Rail/Ferry: Disembark at Portsmouth Harbour Station.
Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is located outside this
station. For more information check our website.

can I park? |
There
are a number of spaces in the Historic Dockyard
car park and other car parks close by. We encourage
people to use public transport wherever possible.
Train and bus services operate to Portsmouth Harbour
station/ The Hard
Interchange, which is a two minute walk from the
entrance.

trains and buses are best to use? |
Portsmouth
Harbour is on the mainline from Waterloo. SouthWest
Trains, Southern and Virgin run services into Portsmouth
Harbour.
The
Hard bus terminal is outside Victory Gate. Stagecoach,
First and National Express operate services into
The Hard.

BAE Portsmouth personnel will get in free, but will be issued with a ticket, which they must present with their pass on the day. They too will get 25% off for up to 4 - adult, child or senior only.
BAE non-Portsmouth Naval Base personnel should refer to their intranet for further information.
Service personnel in uniform will get free entry but no concessions for friends and family; service personnel not in uniform will get a child rate but no concession for their friends or family.

– there will be a pass out system, though all people
who exit and re enter will have to go through security
checks.

will be a programme and map produced for a nominal
fee. The site will be well signposted.
